I Love this Thing!!!!!
By Scott P. (I am an Owner) on Mar 16, 2013I've Had my 2011 XP 800 for almost 2 years. I've had ZERO problems with it mechanically. I use it often for work and play. I've had it in, over and around places where my son's 4 wheeler dare's not to tread. The only dislikes I have are 1. the heat from the engine bay in the summer that heats up ... the seat and the dash area. 2. Harmonic vibrations from some of the bracketry, but I've strongbacked some of them and then bolted them back with rubber cushions and solved some of those issues. 3. A little noisy compared to some of the other ATV's I've been on, but all in all I wouldn't trade it!!

My ranger sucks
By tk (I am an Owner) on Jan 17, 2013my third 6x6 ranger - previous two were great - this one is a lemon - nothing but issues - a 2011 and I have already spent $5000 in repairs - plus when you contact Polaris they could care less - on to a new reliable brand

2011 Ranger 800 XP engine problems
By Jack Liebzeit (I am an Owner) on May 21, 2012Excessive oil consumption and don't know where is is going. No other signs of a problem but uses 1/4 quart of oil every tank of gas. 300 hours and 2 months out of 6 month warranty. Polaris will not help, very disappointed.

Love my Ranger.
By Nick (I am an Owner) on May 06, 2012Bought my Ranger in March 2011. Has been in the shop because I broke a axle my fault they covered under warranty. I haven't had any more issues and I use it on the farm daily.

2011 Polaris Ranger XP Limited Editon
By chester (I am an Owner) on Oct 27, 2011This unit is very sporty looking and has a comforable ride. The problem is the mechnical parts engine, axles,starter and is very loud. FOUR units were purchased here in Louisiana by me and my neighbors, All Polaris UTV's. ALL FOUR have been in the shop. One for axle issues,one for starter problems,one ... for water pump leaking and finally the last one for engine would not idle. I personnally called Polaris to extend my six month warranty for the time it was in the shop.Their answer SORRY. Then went over her head to the manager which he had to call me, She would not transfer me or give me the number to the manager. I will never ever buy a Polaris product again

2011 Ranger
By Tim Lunsford (I am an Owner) on Jul 08, 2011I bought my ranger last November. It was between the ranger and John Deere gator. I picked the ranger because it had more room and I made a mistake. It has been in the shop twice in six months. First it would not run smoothly. When I called the place I bought it they new exactly what it was a sensor. ... Why did they not fix this before it was sold if they knew about it. A couple of months later it started missing again and this time they said it was a bad wire. It is 7 months old now and the seat is broken. It has plastic prongs that hold it in place and they broke. I would never buy another polaris product.
