Polaris needs to clearly redesign
By John zimmerman (I am an Owner) on Sep 07, 2017First of all, the design is all wrong. The battery is low on the frame and has no shield to cover it or protect it from rocks or water!! The plastic is very thin and not fitting properly! The motor gets so hot on the right side, it burns your leg!The brakes are very hard to get at and fix! The muffler ... is already making noise! Very disgusted!

2014 Polaris 570 EFI PRO & CONs
By JP (I am an Owner) on Jan 01, 2016I traded in my 500 sportsman and bought a brand new 2014 570 EFI Polaris. The power is substantially greater than the 500 being fuel injected there is less hesitation suspension seems relatively the same. The construction of the 2014 is shotty to say the least the seat does not fit properly there ... is a wide gap the engine throws off a tremendous amount of heat on your right leg if you don't wear long pants it is extremely uncomfortable. I bought a plow setup for it as well probably one of the worst plow designs I have ever seen. The welding on the frame of the plow could not have been done by an American certified welder I've had to re weld the frame a couple times and it's only plowed a little bit the shear pins if you don't make them yourself are extremely overpriced. Overall you get a lot of performance it's a comfortable ride and it was cheap money I threw in 4000 Plus my 2008 500 and ended up with a 2014 570 with factory winch plow hand warmers and an extended warranty which would have been 3000 more for an import of similar size.

atv problems
By trevor (I am an Owner) on Oct 19, 2015after owning my new Polaris sportsman 570 for three days the timing key sheared in the motor. it was still under warranty thank the lord. but that's not it one week later the same problem happened again. I took it back very upset. asking if they could put a stronger one in and said they could not ... due to have to put a p.o.s factory one back in just like the other two that broke off before.
Another problem is the axles on this thing. the Rear axles have popped out and have to be rebuilt. Once again its a super cheap factory part that they put in just so we the customer have to spend more money to fix the problem. Its been over a week for the Polaris shop to get back with me about the problem.
The other issue I have is with the front lid for the cargo box. It was poorly built with plastic hinges and plastic bolts for to secure it. The problem with this was I was riding in a pastor and the lid popped open and the factory plastic bolts broke. SO all I have to say for this 2014 Polaris sportsman 570 is poorly made by the factory.
wishing I bought a different brand of atv

problems with new atv
By patrick leary (I am an Owner) on Aug 06, 2015I'm not real happy with my new 570 sportsman, within thirty minutes of being on the trail the light came on showing it was running hot. I took it to the dealer and they looked at it an found the cooling fan was never hooked up.After eleven hours on the unit it quit running. It thru a code 636.Which ... is a cranking position sensor. After paying 65.00 dollars for the part that not what was wrong. The starting key was broken and that will be 250.00 to repair. Not good and out of warranty.

Yeah, power like you wouldn't believe.
By Josh (I am an Owner) on Dec 17, 2014Everything perfect no cons at all. Purchased new.. could pull a house off its foundation and across the yard in low gear AWD. Dealer was great too. Headlights are very great coverage on low beam like a stadium light set on front :) also worth noting.. downhill engine braking going slow makes the ... brakes last longer due to not having to use as much. Does not like to free wheel. Also good on gas for such a large engine. Must be the DOHC paired with perfect mixing of having factory EFI.

polaris service stinks over all machine is great working machine
By Todd Shaffer (I am an Owner) on Jul 29, 2014I bought the machine in December 2013 have 400 miles on machine. I had in for my first service to dealer and I told them about a noise I was hearing. They contacted Polaris and they said that is normal. Now I have over 400 miles on machine noise is louder and machine is back in for the second time ... because noise is twice as loud. Polaris does not want to fix the problem for a custom that is un happy. Over all for the machine is great but service for polaris on there end stinks.
